    The 2025 Irish Champions' Festival

The thing they have under the greens at Augusta to drain them, have Leop got the same device. Can't believe that ground

    The 2025 Irish Champions' Festival

Very. I tried to make a case watching the videos for Scorthy Champ in the Solonaway, just couldn't do it. Had a bit of a muggy trixie on Al Aasy (cos he drifted to 2/1 at one point) Deleacroix because he drifted also and Shadow of Light at Donny who should be evens at least.

What are you backing Today? Part 2

Got a tracker running today Fire Flame at Chester. 5/1 best last night but drawn 10/12 over 7 - deffo gonna drift held off betting him....now 18s in places. Small ew, not confident for obvious reasons.

Simon Nott Zooms-In #25 Johnny Dineen

If Johnny as a punter is a 175 beast what rating would you give his predecessor on the thing they do/did with DJ?

    What are you watching

Seen a cracking couple of films recently: Wild Tales. Argentinian film sort of like a seven deadly sins story where the only sin is rage. Six tales, all violent, some funny. The Zone of Interest. This one is not funny at all - set at Auschwitz this tells the story of the family home lived in...

The 2025 PJ Towey Construction Handicap

Same. Dashing Darcey and Walson's Law. The latter needs a fast surface and the ground isn't ideal at the moment. The former really interests me. Has the beating imo of Great Chieftain based on their run at Haydock earlier in the year and he was gelded after a poor run over 7 at York where he was...

The 2025 St Leger, Queen Elizabeth II Stakes and Champion Stakes

Being on Arabian Force ante-post maybe didn't help my view of the race.

The 2025 St Leger, Queen Elizabeth II Stakes and Champion Stakes

Shit field, boring. ICS is much better naturally. Tough to see Delacroix getting beat but a few of the trainer's better 3yos are recently and at 7/1 Anmaat is worth an ew poke, how the Murtagh thing is shorter than him is beyond me.

The 2025 Arc Trials Day fixture @ Longchamp

That's true Slim but there's a solid reason why AoB hasn't won the Arc with a 3yo - he never gives them a comfy mid season break so they hardly ever arrive at Longchamp on peak form. Now, Whirl could be another Enable who was enough ahead of her rivals as a 3yo for it to not matter but I'd want...

What are you backing Today? Part 2

Made u Blush at Windsor. Don't know what to make of his last run in a maiden against some nice types but prior to that he wasn't that far behind King of the Sea at Salisbury...both horses went in the tracker and KotS was very impressive last Friday at Haydock.

The 2025 Arc Trials Day fixture @ Longchamp

Gutted. Had a trixie running onto Sosie beaten by the souse. I hate him so much

The 2025 Arc Trials Day fixture @ Longchamp

Quddwah can't be 20s for the Moulin if it's very soft

What are you backing Today? Part 2

I think a stiff 7 will really suit Fondo Blanco today (4.05) it's not a handicap which tempers enthusiasm but he has scope over this trip - was running on well at the death ast time out and his form from the Rowley Mile earlier in the season is strong. Other bet at Ascot is Sea Suite in the...

    Ante-Post Props 2025 Flat

Head wrecking race Outsider, mainly because O'Meara is such a tricky twat. I didn't want to get involved really but Akkadian Thunder was 10s last night in a place and that was too big to resist on his favourite track. He's been ridden poorly the last twice, as has Leadman. You never know if...

Point Blank: ‘The Lads’ Have a Ryan Moore Problem

Presume Soumi will be riding Henri Matisse, Whirl and Los Angeles on Sunday. I'll be against at least two of those.

What are you backing Today? Part 2

I'm with the fav in that PB. Put him in my tracker when he was second on handicap debut at Windsor earlier in the season. He then ran in the Commonwealth where he actually ran quite well. Strong Warrior. Man of La Mancha is below the 10/3 threshold for tracker bets so I've got him in one of my...

    What are you watching

Recently Watched: The Count of Monte-Cristo. Recent version 3 hours long. I've never read the book but apparently it leaves a lot out. Really enjoyed all the performances. Cracking story obviously. The House that Jack Built. Matt Dillon as a serial killer recounting all his "incidents" to...

    The 2025 Racing League

I'll likely be punting Almarada Prince in the 7f race, like this step up in trip for him.
