    Pity that, because I'm warming to the chances of Montys Star. With the possible exception of the favourite. I think there's sone badly handicapped horses here. Monty isn't one of them though. Humping 12st around in bad ground would be a real test. Waiting to see what the weather does.

    Watched some good stuff lately on Netflix. As Danny says. Beast within me. Mr Mercedes, with Brendon Gleeson, on top form+ the utterly supeb Death by Lightening. An obscure tale of the assassination of an American President in the 1870s ( true story ). Told with Panache + Wit !

    Man in form, Robert Tyner has a couple here at Cork today, at big prices. Harty Cup 12.00 + the veteren Sir Bob 1.35. Sir Bob has decent form around here + is back down to a winning mark. I'll have an ew bet on him

    This is of course Fortune De Mer. Looking at that ride today, I don't think they want to go above 127. No bet in the race, but that should've won today. Quite blatant if I'm being honest !
