I think they will start targeting stuff way before spring. Thats if they want to give the title another serious shot.

    The 2025 Greatwood (Handicap) Hurdle

Faivoir is very big at 66s + he's not badly handicapped at all. Very interesting if they aimed him at this instead of the County, where connections wouldn't have to worry about another Mullins plot job.

    The 2025 November Handicap

2025 Melbourne Cup - Race Prediction, Tips, Picks, & Expert Thoughts on Which Horse Will Win On The Day

After the weekend events you couldn't rule out Absurde, but as Chaumi states the forecast rain is a worry. I'll be fucked if I'm getting up at 3.45 to see what the goings. Iike. I think Further will run well here + that's where my coins are going.

Curragh 3.40. Promise in 2 back end maidens ( only 4 lengths off Minniehawk ). Comfortable winner fto. Looks unexposed to me + there could be stacks of improvement to come. 33s 4 places. Eternal Spirit.

What are you backing Today? Part 2

2.02 Carlisle. Nells Son has won fto the last 2 seasons here. Decently handicapped on chase form. 11/1. Cork 3.20. I usually look for a Tyner horse here when the emphasis is on stamina. Big Debates should run well. 9/1.

    The 2025 Breeders' Cup

Argine had a nightmare run in the mile. Barely came off the bridle finishing 5th. Cathedral ran well to finish 4th. My hunch on Ethical Diamond paid off. In profit. No complaints.

I don't know whether she's bred to get the trip, but Cathedrals staying on performances on decent ground, in the Coronation + Matron this season, suggests she might be worth an ew punt, at long odds in the last race at Del Mar.

    The 2025 Breeders' Cup

Precise you may be right about. I have been thinking of taking Gstaad on myself, seeing that he's been beaten in his last 3 races. His draw reinforces that. I shall be having a good look at this race now.

    The 2025 Breeders' Cup

Japanese horse ( Argine ) interests me in the mile. Lightly raced, already proven at G1 standard over there, every possibility of improvement to come, Dettori booked. Not an ideal draw ( 9 ). Don't think that's a deal breaker though. Took 20s ew. I've also taken 10s Goliath.

    The 2025 Breeders' Cup

I think the draws are done Ian.

    The 2025 Breeders' Cup

Given Becketts post race comments at Royal Ascot. I'd be very concerned about the ground.
