What are you backing Today? Part 2

Mahons Glory 1.50 Sandown tomorrow Has won his last 2 races in the style of a progressive chaser. Looks a natural over fences and can hopefully out jump the opposition from a prominent position. Looks a decent bet at attractive odds. Currently best price 16/1

    Trainers you cannot predict

I find the Easterbys very hard to predict.

    Trainers you cannot predict

Does anyone have trainers whose runners you find difficult to predict? Charlie Johnstone on the flat and Jonjo O Neill on the jumps are the 2 that I cannot work out. Normally following the money is a pointer, but they are stables whose runners I rarely back. All replies appreciated 👍🏻

    The 2025 Longshot Thread

Sir Gerhard 20/1 Sussex champion hurdle tomorrow/Plumpton One of four for Willie Mullins A highly rated Cheltenham festival winner a few years ago Has never really fulfilled his potential but looks fairly handicapped. Has run respectably this season and 20/1 looks far too big.

What are you backing Today? Part 2

I've backed Lieber Power 22/1 and Wise eagle 8/1 each way against Wild Waves in the 3.35 Musselburgh. Will hopefully grab a bit of place money.

    Dublin

Hi DO hope you have a great time in Dublin. Not sure about accommodation, but 2 days ago an article in the Daily mirror claimed that the Temple Bar in Dublin charged a customer 107 euros for 1 pint Heineken 2 malibus 1 coke 6 baby guiness(shots) Staggering! Hopefully you'll find a few winners...

    The 2025 Longshot Thread

Monmiral/ Aintree hurdle Saturday 40/1 Has a few lbs to find with the best of these on official ratings ,but he excels at this course and with the decent going he can outrun his odds. If he can reproduce his running when finishing in front of Strong Leader he can surprise a few better fancied...

    The 2025 Topham Handicap Chase

I have added Excello at 16/1 for this race. Carries a nice low weight and N Henderson has won this 5 times in the past. I have had a small e/way on EA, but this will be my main bet in the race.

    The 2025 Topham Handicap Chase

Eldorado Allen Topham Ran well for a long way in last years Grand National before weakening late on. Is now 8lbs lower in the handicap and the drop in distance looks ideal Currently 33/1 Ladbrokes /Coral.

    The 2025 Longshot Thread

Galunngung 4 40 Aintree tomorrow 40/1 Would definitely be a fitting winner for Donald Mcain considering the remarkable achievements of his father and his once in a lifetime national legend The selection has progressed well this season and ran consistently. He likes to race prominently and if...

    The 2025 Grand National

I was at Uttoxeter on midlands grand national day and I would say the going was soft bordering on heavy Numerous horses were pulled up in almost every race. The only way of knowing how the going is riding is the going stick. Tony calvin wrote a piece last week regarding going reports. He was...

What are you backing Today? Part 2

The drift on Bedouin Prince was amazing. Was as short as 4/9 this morning Opened 4/5 on course and drifted out to 7/4. I couldn't believe the sp. James Doyle gave it a very canny ride.
