    The 2026 Cheltenham Gold Cup

Iroko is never getting a good handicap mark for the National. Thought they might've given him a shot here.

    The 2026 Lanzarote Handicap Hurdle

As a grade 1 winning hurdler, Captain Teague interesting off 139. Even more so if young Gingell or Keighley get the leg up.

At the prices, neither appeal. I am waiting for Glengouly to step up to 3m. Something like thr Racing Post chase at Kempton in Feb.

The 2026 New Year's Day Racing Thread

With the Jocks claim Il Rodoto is chucked in at Cheltenham in the handicap chase. Seems regressive though + the 14s you could've got yesterday, has evaporated. No thanks at the moment.. Right pub time.

    Leopardstown Christmas Meeting

My Immortal 1.57 tomorrow. Don't think this race will take much winning. Fancied to run well in the Thyestes in January. Form of that race, uually works out pretty well. 20s seems a fair price.

    The 2026 Cheltenham Gold Cup

I thought Iroko was running, 66s would intrigue me. Messed around with him for a National mark. I'm not sure we've seen the true ceiling of his ability yet.. Probably won't go down that road though.

    Leopardstown Christmas Meeting

That was 33s yesterday. I looked at him, because he's still a relative youngster, but I couldn't have him.

    Leopardstown Christmas Meeting

Took an ew punt on Hello Neighbour in the Christmas Hurdle tomorrow. Has 10lb to find, but this is his first season out of novice company, so not beyond the realms of possibility. I also think, there's question marks about one or two of the market leaders.. Think the 66/1 is too big !

    Leopardstown Christmas Meeting

In the two grade ones, I think Home by the Lea @ 14s + Grangeclere West @ 25s, may run well , for ew hounds, like myself.

    Leopardstown Christmas Meeting

3.00 minefield. I think Favori Du Champudu, may outrun his odds, so Ive had a silly ew bet on him.
