He's entered at Warwick on Saturday too, with Freddie Gordon down to ride. You never know though, good luck.

Well done Rob. Fair play to you. You put the horses up with a bit of reasoning and have a good amount of successes. William Hill Hurdle next week. Look forward to hearing your opinion on it.

So one last roll of the dice in the comp for Febraury then. Got to be in it to win, folks.

With respect it's got nothing to do with being "a grass". Agree with the rest of your post though. Slim is a Journalist, and I'm sure we all agree he has every right to record the matter with the relevant authorities if he wants to. Especially bringing his daughter into it. Some despicable...

Saturday Thread: Sandown, Musselburgh & Irish Gold Cup

He obviously stays further and I think he'll handle the ground, so hopefully he might dictate matters from the front. The question is, could there be a proper specialist over this distance. Looking forward to it anyway, if it's on. Ps, well done, Rob.

I was looking at Rath Gaul Hill, but will let my heart rule my head, and follow the good doctor, Dr TJ Eckleburg instead. He's a good handicapper on his day and I'd like to see him return to his very best. I like the one DO's mentioned, Sole Solution, aswell.

Ante Post jumps discussion thread 2025/26

I'm waiting to see when the Bookmakers start going NRNB on Cheltenham Festival races. From memory it was this time last year. Or the first week in February. I'm thinking The Passing Wife might end up in The Coral Cup. I just couldn't back it without the NRNB concession though. No doubt...

    Weight

Fist used to say the same. It does intrigue me why so many horses, better off at the weights, fail to turn around the form. The older I get, the less it matters. 😁

Saturday Thread: Sandown, Musselburgh & Irish Gold Cup

Kinturk Kalanisi for me on Sunday at Leopardstown. A huge run he put in last time over Christmas. The winner franked the form at Cheltenham recently. It's serious form, and he's still only a second season chaser who is entitled to improve again. It should take a very good one to beat him.

    Tuesday 27th Jan - Today's Bets, Betting, & Race Analysis + Thoughts

I went through Seaham earlier to get my dog to a vet. I hope you enjoyed it, Chaum. Albeit with the weather as it is. Good luck with the horses tomorrow.

Forum discipline bans (moved from Thyestes Handicap Chase.)

No problem, Trud. I've deleted my posts, as I don't want to come across like I'm trying to be provocative. My dogs not well and I'm off to the vets, so have got more important things to think about.

Backing Venetia Williams' Chasers In November with Andrew Mount

Gavin Cromwell said: “Maybe we over faced him the last day going to the Grade 1 but we are back on track there. It’s nice to win a maiden with him and he’s qualified for the handicaps in Cheltenham. “We’ll freshen him up and probably go for either the Martin Pipe or the Coral Cup as he’d want a...

Backing Venetia Williams' Chasers In November with Andrew Mount

I think it was Euro who made a good point about this. If the horse is good enough she can train it. I think that's what he said anyway. The Famous Five is just a hound, time to forget him. As for people who just back all her horses, I've never done that anyway, regardless of what month it...

Backing Venetia Williams' Chasers In November with Andrew Mount

When they start to go NRNB on the Cheltenham Festival this horses price is going to get carved up like the Christmas turkey. There's only two races he'll realistically go for, The County or the Martin Pipe. Given the distance of todays race you'd have to think the latter was more probable now.
