The 2026 Great Yorkshire (Handicap) Chase

Well, I think it's quite probable that there's a cracking bet in this. And, I'm keeping it all to myself, for now anyway. 😁

    NEW HERE

I'm not a fan of so called clique's, and always believed members, new or old, should be judged on the content and merit of their posts. When I first posted online I felt there was a clique, but then I also now realise I was young and naive, and posting a lot of meaningless shite,, so I was...

    The 2026 Lanzarote Handicap Hurdle

I hope he was. I hope someone kept the faith.

Also a former Betfair Hurdle and Greatwood Hurdle winner, easy in hindsight.

    The 2026 Lanzarote Handicap Hurdle

I was on at Chepstow and loved the way it battled. I have one good memory of this race betting wise, which was Boreham Bill a few years ago. I'm still mulling over things before having a bet today. If I was backing good memories etc I'd just stick with King Of The Lake. But I never keep it...

    The 2026 Longshot Thread

Yeah not really my kind of race either, DO. But I'm thinking the same as you. As I say, if he returned to form he could make 25/1 look big.

    The 2026 Longshot Thread

Wolverhampton 5.30 The Caltonian is available at 25/1 which seems very fair for an each way bet. This horse is now on its last winning mark of 88, which was from January last year at Newcastle, where he had We Never Stop and Albasheer behind him, both of whom have won since, and are quite good...

Ante Post jumps discussion thread 2025/26

Lud'ors fav for the qualifier on Saturday but no odds for the Pertemps in March. No doubt if he wins on Saturday, they'll install it at silly short odds. They still haven't got their finger out, how convenient.

    The 2026 Classic Handicap Chase

In terms of the Grand National, would you not be concerned he's fell twice in the last 12 months?

History of Meynell Hunt point-to-point meetings at Ednaston Hall

I think he was. His 'Look Who's Pointing' thread was the final thread he started?

Ante Post jumps discussion thread 2025/26

Lud'or is quoted for this race at Warwick on Saturday at 4/1. It's made me wonder whether I should just back the bloody thing for the Pertemps Hurdle in March at a much bigger price, but then there is no price quoted by any firm. Come on odds compilers, get your finger out, or I might have to...

    The 2026 Lanzarote Handicap Hurdle

He's entered over at Warwick on Saturday in a 3M1F Pertemps qualifier, which I find interesting. Now back to you, Ian...

    The 2026 Lanzarote Handicap Hurdle

Anything with recent and respectable form with French Ship must be of interest, and Tom Symonds Lud'or would be an interesting entry. He'd have something to prove going right handed but only went up 3lbs for that run and is going the right way. Lets see.

    The 2026 Longshot Thread

Ayr 3.30 Gaillimh A Stor - I'll chance this horse after another wind operation. He's probably fairly treated on his novice hurdle form too, if you are prepared to go back long enough. Market support would boost confidence levels.
