The Kalooki Kid 1.45 Aintree may run better than the 28/1 odds suggest, will do well to place.

    The 2025 Grand National

Shop business and office / online business are treated separately ( wrongly in my opinion ) so that the bookmaker can control how much a customer can get on a selection ...... if Pricewise for eg tip one at a big price with 6 Places then restrictions can easily be placed on accounts, but if the...

    The 2025 Grand National

The whole industry has changed somewhat from what it used to be. Betting via the internet and mobile devices was seen as a huge move forward for both bookmakers ( in terms of turnover ) and for punters who would have everything at their fingertips - rather than dashing around numerous shops or...

    The 2025 Grand National

I think their place side of the market will be under the 800% mark ...... they would ( as you point out ) need to drastically reduce everything to get a 800%+ place book - having been an odds compiler for around 30yrs I understand the mechanics of it all better than the average shop punter or...

    The 2025 Grand National

They can't halve the prices , but if they are 12/1 for a general 14/1 chance then that is understandable ........ if they went top price on everything then it would be commercial suicide.

    The 2025 Grand National

Have been told by a couple of people that Paddy Power will be going EW 8 PLACES on Saturday in the SHOPS on Grand National Bets ..... a great offer IF THE ODDS are competitive enough.

    The 2025 Grand National

I was convinced Burrows Saint was gonna win the National in 2021, but it looks as if the race almost finished him ...... sad to see he still going around and being comprehensively hammered in the Irish Pointing fields - he should have a comfortably armchair and his hooves up in front of the fire...

    The 2025 Longshot Thread

Lope Harswell is now as now as 12/1 and no bigger than 20's from an initial quote of 66/1 when odds were released for the opening race, one for some EW cash today is Justice Twice ( still a little 25/1 left ) ........ but it's anyone's guess in a field of 17 debutants.

    The 2025 Longshot Thread

Fingers crossed if you're backing Beringer ........I couldn't myself given his past issues and time off the track, I would say he needs more help from the handicapper too, he's only 4 pounds lower than his last win almost six years ago - that said if he is anywhere near his form when dead...

    The 2025 Grand National

I stick by what I said the other day, Thursday is likely to be Good to Soft and by Saturday it will be riding very close to Good. All depends how much they put on, but they surely can't over water. The course is looking great at the moment.
