    Rendlesham Hurdle 2026

The trainer has reportedly mentioned running Lud'or in the Grade 1 Liverpool Hurdle. I wonder will he even consider what was known as the Coral Cup, over the shorter distance, depending on what the handicapper does of course and whether there was a bit of cut in the ground nearer the time...

    Rendlesham Hurdle 2026

The fav was taken out today. I really hope a few risked it for a chocolate biscuit, (as long as you are all nice people, and agree with everything I say), in terms of backing Lud'or at 16's ante post during the week for this, as assuming he wins, now at 6/4, you are sitting in an extremely...

    Rendlesham Hurdle 2026

Any opinions on how good this favourite Kabral is people? I don't think it'll be a one horse race myself with some getting a weight concession. My contention is one of the handicappers yet to try graded company, might step up again and improve. Of those we have Henri The Second, French Ship...

When actually is this Southwell race? I've heard more debate about it than the last 3 Cheltenham Festivals put together.

The betting market agrees with me today. Leave Of Absense into 11/2 now from 16/1 last night.

We'll see how this experiment goes tomorrow. I've had a rethink about this. I like his handicap form a lot. He receives a few pounds in weight too. Haiti put in a stinker in the Betfair Chase and his best form is in big fields. Venetia's horse returns after a very short break. It wouldn't be...

Never even competitive tonight, shows you what 20 or so days off the track can do to a horse. Apologies.

    Talking Horses Ante-Post Competition 2025 / 2026 February selections

I've just remembered I've got a 2K bank this month. Thanks Barj. Lud'or, Coral Cup, 500 EW, @ 33/1 with Unibet I think that really is my lot now.

What is Anthony Honeyball doing entering Leave Of Absense in the Denman Chase on Saturday? He's an improving novice who likes good ground. He's also entered up in the 3M handicap at Kempton on Feb 21st. Hes got to keep him in handicaps for now, surely?

Friday Newcastle 7.00 The Caltonian He's won at this track 6 times previously so loves the place... He looks like a mere steering job here, now that he's back in form, so anything at odds against, could well be a gift from the gods.

The 2026 William Hill Handicap Hurdle

All about what horse is on what curve, isn't it. At some stage one has to factor the price available too I reckon. Hence, backing plotty plotty things at 11/4 for races like this is not for me. Even if they are trained by Dan Skelton. Looking forward to it anyway. I'll shut me hole now.

The 2026 William Hill Handicap Hurdle

Yep, Danny. I see that too. Dance And Glance at 3 times the price, aswell. With respect to Warren Greatrex, I'd have Honeyball as more of a man to get one to improve to win a race like this. That's just my personal preference. The Skelton horse could be absolutely anything of course. I can't...

The 2026 William Hill Handicap Hurdle

I can see the thinking. Dance And Glance is closely matched with him and carries 6lbs less. Anthony Honeyball knows how to get a good one to keep improving. Both have big each way chances I think, but I slightly prefer the Dance And Glance, having had a bit more racing experience over here aswell.
