After yesterday’s fiasco I should really keep my money in my pocket, but I’ve got a few interesting trackers.
Russian Ruler 12:30 Chepstow 15/8 atm - has been very disappointing for one so highly thought of by Henderson although he has been highly tried. Don’t like it that he has finished weakly in his races, particularly last time when he looked an all over winner before stopping quickly. Nonetheless he is miles ahead on known form and should see them off here. Smallish bet.
Master Dancer 3:40 Kempton 4/1 atm - after winning nicely at Stratford he was upped in class to be best of the Brits behind two Irish raiders last time at Cheltenham. This is a tougher ask, I think, but he should run well and give No Ordinary Joe something to think about. Small bet.
Although I think the Kempton 1:20 is probably a match between the eye catching potential of Lac de Constance and the proven form of Boothill my eye will be on Glory and Fortune. My note:
12/11 Glory and Fortune who was bang there at the second last where he unshipped Stan Sheppard which was some going having crashed his way through the tops on the way round. Think I’ll put him in the notebook.
He was second at the time, but would have had to go some to have beaten Banbridge
