Thought I'd rush off this message before you all fall asleep under the influence of Saturday 'Chardonnay.'
I take great pleasure in teasing out unusual trends in quality races, and was thrown into a spin this evening when looking at tomorrows 3:50 at Newmarket. The winning draw reported by the RPsince 2001 were not those reported by the Sporting life (which by the way reflected my records):
2010 RP (21) - SL (5)
2009 RP (21) - SL (1)
2008 RP (13) - SL (13) Hooray!
2007 RP (8) - SL (23)
2006 RP (16) - SL (14)
2005 RP (2) - SL (29)
2004 RP (11) - SL (20)
The same contradictions hold in the 2:05 Nmt as well.
Anyone know whats going on, have RP adjusted the form records in line with new stall numbering?
