WOW. What a programme. It took a while to get going but it picked up at the end. Excellent. What an ending. After that, will there be a Series 5???

Is that it finished now?

Some of us lucky ones got to see the finale weeks ago :D

I would be happy with Season 5 being a 24 hour bloodbath with Jack just getting a gun and killing everyone in sight.

No story, no twists. Just pure revenge fuelled violent murders.

The first murder would be Joey Tribbiani. Put him out of his misery.

the 4th season started this Thursday in Spain.

I have followed the first 3 and is an outstanding enterteiment.

yep I agree, brilliant :)
(i finished it a few weeks back too :) )

Series 5 starts filming next month and is due to air in the US in January 2006

There are season 4 spoilers on there if you haven't already watched it!

****Spoiler alert below****
Again don't read if you haven't watched the finale of season 4
I've put it in yellow now so it's harder to read - if you highlight it all using your mouse then you can read it properly if you so wish :)
Out of respect for people who haven't watched it yet if everyone doe sthe same it would be appreciated

Its set about 2 years after season 4. Bill Buchanan is back as a regular. Tony and Michelle have left CTU but 'more than likely' will be back. Jack is dating a woman whose son hates him. Logan is now the President - Keeler died of his injuries.

They're trying to do another 'pre-season promo' - this time 24 minutes long

I`m replying to this without reading the previous posts...reason being that for every series of this classic drama i tape all twenty four episodes and then watch them over a magical two or three days. My question is...does it match up to the previous series? I think the last one was the best yet.

It depends what you're into.

Personally, I feel it has gotten worse with age.
Agree with Phil. While it's still watchable it gets more ridiculous every series and its' reinforcement of the neo-con's "power of nightmares" propoganda that the arabs are the new 'enemy' is equally so.

After discovering 24 only a couple of months ago I've watched my way through seasons 1,2 & 3. I decided not to start watching season 4 halfway through but have the DVD on preorder from Amazon. There is talk of a 24 film, with the first half being filmed 'normally' and the second half being in 'real time'.

I'm now getting well on the way through season 4 on DVD and it is excellent. Still as far-fetched as ever but good all the same.
