Flat, Jumps or a combo?

Ireland, England, France or a combination?

Trainer or trainers?

And why your choices?

A bit of fun.

Five jumpers, all in the UK.

One with PFN, one with Rebecca, one with Dr Newland, one with Venetia and one with Warren Greatrex.

Would give me plenty of different yards to go and visit. If I owned them I would turn up and ride work on them too.

A combo of flat and NH hopefully with at least two dual code !
Most posters on here know my trainer choice:
Ml Winters for the sheer entertainment value plus his obvious ability.
J H Culloty for the Festival winner !
Tom Hogan for a World wide crusade of big pots.
Edward Harty for reasoned thought out race planning, with his father's home spun philosophy on life, love and horses.
Pat Flynn for Mrs Flynn's home baking !

Interesting question

All jumpers

Keep one with Rebecca Curtis or Emma Lavelle to keep my gf on her toes. Will maybe have it run in a Cartmel novice just for the amusement factor of having a Championship standard prospect running at a meeting where the purists are crowded out by the once a year have a picnic brigade.

The rest with Guillaume Macaire because the horses will be predominantly raced in France (Prize Money) before heading to Cheltenham in the spring. Might target one of the hurdle races at Kincsem Park since Budapest is an awesome city and it would be interesting to see how far a Champion Hurdler would win by over there.

2 flat - John Oxx & Andre Fabre
3 jumps - Ferdy Murphy, Rebecca Curtis, Paul Nicholls.

none of them miss the mark too often with a good one, and I'd love to ride work on Rebecca.

I'd have one flat horse with Sir Mark Prescott. For his company and the potential for a proper touch.

One jumper with Rebecca Curtis. Partly for her training prowess, partly her beauty.

The remaining three all jumpers with Nick Williams.

2 sprinters for the flat because they can run regularly. One with Ed Lynam and one with David O'Meara.
2 dual purpose horses with Pat Flynn for the craic and Donald McCain for the results.
Chaser with Henry De Bromhead.

One flat horse trained by Aidan O'Brien so I could live off the subsequent stud income.

Four jumpers, one each with Noel Meade, Gordon Elliott, Dessie Hughes and Willie Mullins so I'd have a reason to visit several yards.

Five jumpers.

Send a juvenile to Miss Curtis and keep it training for years

Big irish pointer to PF Nicholls

Three chasers then to

Jessica Harrington - good two miler

Henry De Brom - classy bloke, no one gets them jumping better

Tom Foley and give him another day in the limelight.

Unfortunate to miss out

Colm murphy
Dessie Hughes

I'd have two horses with Des Donovan, two horses with John Butler and one trained by my milkman. I'd probably run them on the same day and chance a Super Yankee and an acca.

Buy 5 get one free.
One each with Pipe, Nicholls, Harrington, Oxx, O'Brien. Top trainers, and meeting legends from the past would be a thrill.

Lastly, with cecil. Meeting the great man would be an honour.

Pity he's dead.

Mine would be NH. I would be constrained by whether the trainers would let me run them barefoot!

De Bromhead trains 5 minutes away from me and I would definitely have a horse with him.
Pat Flynn would be a right man to train a low grade handicapper.
Willie Mullins -class act.
Gordon Elliot -could get you a winner at any time of the year.
Johnny Murtagh-far from a punter friendly trainer but I have studied him closely and in my opinion he is very shrewd-has achieved a lot with a fairly small team of horses.

I occasionally watch the American races on ATR and there is a trainer at Woodbine who runs all his horses without shoes -drives one of the ATR pundits mad-they never win.

2 NH with Michael Winters as I could go up to the yard a mile away when I felt like it plus, the fact they would be well placed. Might even land a touch:whistle:

Two miler+ with Johnny Murtagh up and coming shrewd trainer
I would send my sprinter to Ed Lynam for obvious reasons

Saucy Night did ok, so did Homer Run, Shilpa.........all mostly barefoot. And we've got a few more. given EDPS are buying in cheap horses....

I'd have 3 colts by Galileo, one by Sea the Stars and one by Frankel.

The galileos to O'Brien, the others to Gosden. Sack off this sentimental rubbish, I'd want the biggest return possible.
