This stuff is simply fantastic - you must try some! Totally aside from the fact that the bottle looks superb, it tastes awesome too. To be truly appreciated, it should really be drunk as the Russians meant it to be drunk - neat from the freezer, with or without ice. It is lovely with some lemonade too - but it somewhat spoils a decent vodka to put a mixer in with it - any Russian would be most disapproving of that!! Still, seriously, this is far and away the best flavoured vodka I have ever tried - the others are so plasticky & feeble. This one is great & the flavour of the rasperies is startling.

I take it you quite liked it, then, Dom?

"Yezz, anozzther Ashaloot Rarsh... Rahps.. razzz... oh, just gimme the bottle!"

I agree SL, by far the best tasting of that particular Vodka mix range... Spent the early hours of last Saturday morning necking it! Delicious! The 'Absolut Release' slogan should also appeal to those forum members sick of prunes for breakfast and a high fibre diet, it works wonders :D

Drink it like a russian would Shadow ? I would assume this would mean I have to throw my glass at the fire breaking it, the glass I am refering to not the fire :o

Methinks I will get a rollocking and sent to get the dustpan and brush. :shy:

You're not wrong about the old "vodka belly" after a sesh, Caj!!!!!

Well Mark - I don't have a fire or an excess of glasses so ok, I won't go that far!! A Russian would certainly baulk at the idea of vodka not being drunk neat or being kept in the freezer though - they're the experts on the drink, so who am I to argue?! :D

Spot on! we necked the best part of 2 bottles of Absolute (1 raspberri, 1 blackcurrant) this weekend. I'm not usually a sraight vodka drinker but this is delicious. Its on offer in Tescos, but no doubt Dom can get it for about 50p in Gib :angy:

I like to keep the voddy in the freezer - if anyone does drink it neat, that's the only way for it to be served! Dom, weren't you delighted that yours here was v-v-v-v--very w-w-w-w-well ch-ch-chilled? :teeth:

Have you seen what it like that does to Russians' faces? :o

Yes Jon, I was very impressed with the vodka being served in the favoured chilled state - thank you very much! Suffice to say, my freezer contains more vodka than food....

I won't ask what the offer is in Tesco's Ali!! Merlin, here it costs me about £6 a litre - nice.....
