Adrian and Dave Dent talk art and Saving Kempton Park (in two parts)

Dave is a great guy. Very passionate about his work and Racing, and passionate in general about anything he gets involved in. Never knew he was banned from here. I guess he didn't fit in with the clique.
 
Dave and Adrian made some very good suggestions about how to promote Kempton better in part two of this interview. We need people like these to help to save such an historic racecourse and I thank them for that.

I don't recall the details of his banning, but I do remember having a discussion with him where he was adamant that anyone who suggested that smoking was bad for you was a nazi, on the basis that Hitler had disliked it (smoking).

Which pretty much sums up how any conversation with him went - irrational thought processes abound.

And let's face it - you have to be a complete **** to get yourself banned from here. We're the most lenient forum on the web.

Thanks simmo, but I doubt he said that smoking wasn't bad for you, more like people should be able to smoke if they want without being nannied. Also surprised that he'd say anything bad enough to warrant a ban. he must have been having a real bad day if he did, maybe he'd run out of ciggies :lol:
 
No. He definitely said smoking wasn't bad for you. At the time I was a militant smoker myself and even I knew it was knackering my health.
