Advice On Techniques In Ms Word

My friends like to refer queries to me. They know I know nothing of such things but that I can always get helpful advice on here. Here is the latest question:

"I want to type something using Word, so when I print, it will be contained in an area 4" wide x 6" height, any ideas ?"
 
Brian, if you click on "File" and then "Page setup" then click on the tab marked "paper size" you will be able to adjust it. They are in centimetres though!! I reckon you can work it out.
 
Use a textbox. Available from the Drawing toolbar (View, Toolbars, Drawing). Size and Margin parameters can be set in the the properties (double click or right-click on the edge of the text box that you have just created)
