Sadly, my faithful Audi was written off in an accident yesterday (not my fault and no-one was hurt, thankfully) so I require advice for the insurance claim.
They've asked for the service record and receipts. I can furnish the latter easily enough, but should I? I haven't kept the service record book stamped for years as I'd intended running the car into the ground over the next ten years and selling it for spares.
Will those documents affect the settlement?
The has/had over 250k miles on the clock but any new part required was fitted promptly because of the driving I do (33-35k mpa).
I know I won't get much but I want to at least maximise what I do get!
