Dont suppose you happened to see who the cameramen were did you? my friends brother is a wildlife cameraman and his work is really sought after....

(yes - hes African in case you are thinking im being really thick !!!)

The beeb usually take their own production teams out, from my experience
 
Ah ok, just wondered cos they've used brad before for stuff, I'm sure the Attenborough lot are almost as good ;)

Hang on, I've just realised what you put - "from my experience" ??!!that sounds exciting - what were you up to there - Is there nothing you cant do??!! :D

They come out and film at work now and again. They've also done a few polo related hits I've accidentally ended up involved in.
 
A bunch of them were struggling during a drought and a calf was filmed in it's final moments. Not easy to watch.
 
That's horrid. I hate that they aren't allowed to intervene at all when they are filming -ways remember brad telling us about the time he did some work (for National Geographic or someone like that)where they were following a pride of lions who were on the verge of starving and they went for the kill on an elephant - under normal circumstances you'd never get that happen becuse its just too difficult,but that year the drought had taken It's toll on everything. Three days it took the lions to bring the elephant down and the camera crew had to just follow, watching one lioness underneath the elephant trying to get through the softest skin while one was on its back trying to bring it down.when they got tired, another lioness would take over until eventually they had wounded the elephant enough that she came down and game over.
Horrible stuff but fascinating how absolutely any animal is prey when you're desperate enough.... :/
