A poll here just for a fellow forumite I met last week at Brighton. Personally I think it is great and I wear it almost every day. Anyone else?

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. No.

Aftershave is very, very wrong. None of them actually smell of anything I'd like to smell of, and what's more I don't generally want anyone near me who is wearing it.

We did this to death last week Paul.

Don't go looking to fellow forumites to make you look more manly. You should face up to and admit the fact that you are a big nancy boy.

Pefume is for girls and poofters. No more needs to be said on the matter.

I am worried about pefume - sounds disgusting no wonder you don't like it Relkeel !

Women and guys who wear capacious amounts of smellies obviously are afraid of the soap and water and hiding smells :o  ..................

Me!! ....yes only when going out somewhere special, but deodorant on a daily basis after shower or bath daily..........

Cleanliness is before Godliness in my eyes......................

Yes. I particularly like teen spirit.
We weren't talking about your favourite tipple, An.

(Note how I deliberately resisted the more obvious joke B) )

Mrs Orchid once bought me a bottle of expensive after-shave. I wore a dab or two of the stuff in the first year (just to please her) but decided I had to be a man and smell like one. I've never had a problem being close to women.

I'm not prone to sweating so as long as the body is clean there is no good reason for a real man to wear any poofy stuff.

Deoderant is bad for you, by the way. The more you wear it, the more you need to wear it.

Hmmm, I shall mainly be revising my list of forumites-to-meet.

Decent aftershave can be a turn-on while cheap, nasty artificial stuff isn't. Same goes for wimmin's perfume.

But infinitely worse are those men and women who don't wash either themselves or their clothes regularly and who you can smell from a distance of ten feet plus. Yuck...

Of course, there are times when eau-de-cow number 104 sometimes has to be overlooked.....even when mixed with silage 2005 and slurry 2004. B)

Don't do aftershave firstly I'm not old enough to shave, secondly I would probably drink it & thirdly I don't want people calling me Walter Swinburn!! So no just smell as nature intended (but roll on under the oxters). :P

The aftershave that a man wears tells a lady (or bloke...) a bit more about the man. Nice smelling stuff is great...cheap, NO NO NO!

I use,in no particular order-

TRUTH from CALVIN KLEINE
PHOTO from LAGERFELD
NO2 from AIGNER

Not all at the same time though. :)

My favourite men's ones are...

Issey Miyake (all of them...mmm)
Angel for men
CK One (it's unisex :D )

they're my three favourite

I use CK one q a lot which is unisex. But i only wear it when im out or for special occasions. To be honest, i find most of them, smell q similar, such as Hugo boss and the Lacoste red one. I also have CK crave, to be fair, i dont think it makes much of a difference what you wear as long as you dont over do it.

btw I dont think there is anything wrong for a man to use aftershave.

what about BRUTE and OLD SPICE ...................

Kathy accused me of wearing that at LINGFIELD, but sorry to say it is/was long gone from my choices..

I use several different ones but not the ones you have quoted my fav is very hard to get now its call NOIR I think they have stopped making it, it was bought in Boots.... (not sandals or slippers either??? :D ) but it never smelt of old boots I can assure you?

under arm is NOIR, or RIGHT GUARD, or LYNX in different aromas........

As I work in a small hut in very close proximity to a male colleague whose coat nearly gassed us to death during the winter, and who has reeky armpits most days, I don't really care what a bloke smells of in terms of deo, aftershave, cologne, talc, or soap. It'd be a bleedin' godsend most days. I can assure any man who thinks that 'going natural' is nice, that the stink of rotting bacteria (for that is what the 'niff' is) may be a turn on for female hyenas, but it isn't for this human female!

Aqua di Gio by Georgio Armani
Issey Miyake eau d'Issey
Givenchy Blue

are the three I use at the moment.
