I thought he deserved his own thread since this hasn't happened in thirty years. It may be lower grade racing but this is a fantastic result for a cheap horse and all credit to connections for bringing about the improvement.

Yes, I was tempted to start a thread myself when I read about yesterday's win.

A feelgood story for racing that hopefully after the next handicap win makes the general news.

The great thing about it is that it wasn't manufactured in the way that Chaplin's Club was all those years ago, being run down the park to get its mark right down then exploit it with a series of wins while its handicap mark goes back up then rinse [the punters] and repeat.
