Too much wine for me tonight. And I had to drink the see through stuff (ie: white), followed by a few Cointreau coffees. Why do I do it????

Because you want to?

I'm asking the same question, having gone straight from work (in with the district manager tonight) to my mates brothers 18th birthday.

Why do the gals look so nice? Some of them were right hot, and no I have no pictures.

Should probably be in town by now but I'm not.

Back to the original statement, but I've never had a cointreau coffee so are they nice T?

Thanks
Martin

Miss, thank you.

You really need to try a liquor coffee. Make you normal coffee and add a swigg of Baileys/Cointreau/Tia Maria.

Kool, sounds pretty good though was on JD and Cokes today, had to cross a notoriously dangerous bypass too to get home but hadn't drunk that much.

You have a good night?

Trips, try Kahlua in coffee if you find Tia Maria a little sweet. A great way to drink 'Aunt Mary' is to pour the desired amount (say, a litre) into a glass and top it off with single cream, poured with the glass slightly angled, so it slides down the sides to meet the liqueur, instead of just plopping to the bottom. Then sip your Tia Maria through the cream. Or the Kahlua. Absolutely gorgeous. :P

May I recommend the quickest way to Hell in a handbasket as brandy & Benedictine? Or a B&B, which is what you'll need to find in a hurry if you're away from home! Equal shots of any old brandy with Benedictine, either as they are, swirled together, or over ice for a slightly longer slurp. Three of these will see the room swirling and all those ugly, ugly people suddenly becoming the most beautiful and interesting you've ever met... Seriously, one after dinner is really great.

Baileys is just very nice, full stop!! Especially served from the fridge with loads of ice - preferably in a pint glass!!!!

Just think yourselves lucky!

I was invited to my first dinner party 'solo' - ie with friends of both my 'ex' and myself where everyone else were 'couples'.

And we all know the only benefit of actually being part of a couple is that one of you at least can drink when you go out.

So, apart from briefly nodding off (yes truly) at 11pm while still sitting round the dinner table (how embarrassing), I had to endure 5 hours of pleasant chit-chat WITHOUT ANY ALCOHOL.

I ended up being a taxi to a couple who were very pleased to find they could both swig the very good vino port and liquers down and save on a taxi fare home too...

I'd install a meter, Julie. Expecting you to be brilliant dinner-table company, and an alcohol-less free taxi service is just stretching goodwill a wee bit too far, I think.
