I have a great aversion to paying for anything on the net.To get some US series such as 24 and the Shield it has sometimes meant watching poor quality or subtitled films. No longer as I now watch, and can download if necessary in pristine quality just as I would were I in the US.
The unions in the States will not allow the networks to make shows available online outside the US. However the link below whether you run it or save it produces a chinese character site that has a google search box. Just type in the name of the network eg. fox.com for 24 and when you click on the google entry for fox.com it thinks you are in the US. This means you can be up to date, review past episodes and if you're smart download them. All for free!!

When you use the linkyou get the option to run or save.If you run then this produces a temporary file where you have the option to extract files. Click extract and hey presto a file called "ultrasurf" appears. Click and you have chinese characters and a search box labelled Google search. Type in 'fox.com' and then choose your show. Same procedure for CBS and NBC.
I have double checked for viruses and spyware.

OK, I got as far as Ultrasurf but I'm also getting a big gold-coloured padlock at the bottom right of the screen and a message 'failed to connect to server' or words to that effect.

I got it working, and on to the google in chinese bit, i then went to fox, but how do you watch the programmes?

Scrap that ive figured it out, im watching the whole of the American Apprentice. :P :P

DO,
You seem to have done the most difficult bit.If you click on the padlock and go to home page thats the Chinese gobbledeegook.
Good luck.
BTW when you get on the network sites look for an all shows option gets you to a particular programme.

Still the same. When I (right-)clicked on the padlock and selected 'go to Home Page', I got the following:

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.

What you can try:
Diagnose Connection Problems

More information

It is your settings DO.

Either your firewall is blocking access to the page or your Internet Options are not allowing Intranet content.

Are you all masochists? I'd have thought there's more than enough American programmes on UK television as it is.

Quick question, im lost on Fox, is there a way i can watch past episodes on there ?

Im stumped with this one, but fine with CBS, ABC & NBC

Fox only does latest episode.
Try the following for past Fox. Obviously sometimes not as good quality.

Well, first off there isn`t and secondly they make the best tv at the moment.

The fucking abortion on BBC right now is the worst i`ve ever seen. Half a dozen ponced up uncle fuckers trying to out gay each other in an attempt to pull Graeme Norton as Andrew Lloyd Webber tosses off in the background. Absolute disgrace.

Haven't a clue what you're on about, but it sounds like the usual BBC weekend rubbish. Sounds like they've have run out of Celebrity Reality shows anyway which has to be a good thing.

Fox back episodes, 24 etc.

On the Fox.com site there is box offerring 24 on demand, click this and it links to Myspace with back episodes of all Fox shows. Current series only.

Just finished watching it, and it was good. Donald Trump seems a decent enough bloke too ?
