   "My young man" - Tony will split his sides at that one, Kathy!  Actually, we had a hilarious start to the day.  We haven't had to use the little red trolley for some time, but today we had to take the box of race cards, the laptop, and the box of badges down on it as the cards hadn't been pre-delivered as usual.  We got a third of the way to the hut, then realized we hadn't collected our badges, as we'd all been busy joking with the jolly folks in the Cash Office and Accounts.  Tony took my big umbrella on with him and trolley, while I went back for the badges.  I just emerged again to find the heavens had opened and, of course, he'd gone off with the brolly!  I was well soaked by the time I reached the hut, to much hilarity, and it wasn't until the first race had nearly started that we realized we'd left our money float behind as well!     Talk about not being able to get the staff...

It was lovely to see you both and what a fabulous day for you all!  I thought you'd probably be busy with jollies, so decided that after we'd remembered to return everything (!) I would get a bit of a flyer on the rush hour.  I'm so glad that the trip, in all its horror, was still well worth it.  Most of our owners suffered the same fate if they used the M25, so there were a lot of well-ground teeth at Lingfield today!  See you again soon, I hope.   :)
