Has he moved permanently to Ireland? I keep seeing him popping up on the Irish tracks (and actually winning a fair bit there, too), so I'm wondering if he's defected?

Different chap Kri - Andrew Thornton is still over here, rode at Bangor on Saturday.

The Irish jockey is "A P Thornton" though not sure what the A or P stand for.

Andrew Thornton has just returned last week from another injury.

The other Thornton claims an allowance which would be a clue to the fact he is another rider, although some would argue that Andrew should be claiming!

He is the only jock I have used who booked himself club class over to Galway at my expense. Do I sound a bit frugal.? Went economy myself

Well, Arkers, that's the Andrew Thornton I heard called! Perhaps the other is also an Andy? Very confusing - but I'm quite easily confused, anyway.

By air, Roddy? I'd have thought cattle class on the ferry quite good enough!

Cheeky! Then, he is a Yorkshireman, I believe. My ex would have done exactly the same. Top class at someone else's expense, economy at his own.
