Well, I have just applied for and received my licence to transport all species of live veterbrate animals (which I suppose includes humans!?), issued by the State Vetrinary Service.

Yes, yet another piece of legislation that has been snuck in and which requires more bureaucracy and more paperwork. This is a Council Regulation ([EC] No 1/2005), designed, apparently, for the protection of animals during transport. I've undergone no test, no training, no nothing but that's OK, because they've issued a piece of paper which covers everything. Madness...

Anyone transporting equines should checkt make sure they get one if it's necessary - the only reaosn I've done it is because I do move cattle every now and then using the livestock trailer (just to Shows).

And that's my next query - I'm thinking of reinvesting some of my Stud turnover into a livestock box 9as opposed to trailer) which will have to be dual purpose so have a payload higher than 3 tonnes (so it can carry 3+ Chubs!). I can't afford new, obviously and it can't be an HGV box, so aFord Cargo or similar would be the equivalent. I'd like to find one with an aluminium shell - like a TriStar 6 - on a decent skid, so if anyone knows of anything...?
