I was chatting to my Dad last night, and during the conversation he mentioned having spoken to a very well known ex jockey who recomended some vitamin tablets to him. My Dad was so inspired by the conversation, he called me to check on the internet where he could buy them from and he is off to get some today as he was given a sample to try.

May be worth a go if you like the idea of vitamin supplements and you are ever in Boots or Sainsburys? It certainly didn't do this jump jockey any harm! B)

They are called Wellman (please see :-) http://www.vitabiotics.com/wellman/wellman_tab_proinfo.htm

Kathy, there is no substitute for a loving woman :P only the ones without will dispute it.
Past a certain age, many only have the weekly trolley push in Safeways to look forward to

 Poor wee Morrie! I can't imagine looking forward to it at any age, to be honest. It's just one of many ways of sending the human race insane.

Don't worry your pretty little head about it, Brian. It's a nasty contraption for loading up comestibles at those new-fangled super markets, prior to decanting the contents into the back of one's shooting brake, and driving oneself home. Naturally, Hartigan Hall is blessed with a trades entrance, so the vulgar unpleasantries of dealing with deliverymen are kept well out of the sight of those of a sensitive nature.

Just make sure the servants don't keep the delivery drivers hanging around Brian, remember the Working Time Directive and the offloading of the pigs example! B)

My weekly trip to Lidl (on my own as Mrs Mo is too proud to come with me) is pretty much the highlight of my week

I take comfort from knowing if I spend £40 there I've saved about £60 compared with what she'd have spent if I let her loose in Safeways. (The £60 goes towards the Saturday punts.)

I leave her to do what she's best at... making the house look more decorative

Just found this one the website for anyone who needs help in this area

Will Wellman® help to maintain sexual health in men?

Wellman® contains a synergistic combination of nutrients such as Zinc, Vitamin E, and other antioxidants such as Selenium, which play a role in reproductive health, the healthy development of sperm.

I actually bought a packet of wellman when they first came out. It was q pricey i seem to remember, about £7..I've never taken vitamins before and to be honest, i dont know what to make of it, i seem to be indifferent if i take it or not. Also, the fact that one needs to take it everyday was off putting since it was a bit of drag....they also smell bad and was q chunky in a brown colour.

I didnt buy anymore after the first packet but that is not to say, it is no good, it is just that it didnt suit me/my lifestyle, i think i was only 19 or early 20s at the time......

Excellently thought-out economics, Mo! :D I think I'm going to have to give Lidl another go, as it seems to be becoming a bit of a fashion with forumites at the moment. I used to love their German potato salad and their sliced ham, both of which went rather well with a couple of juicy tomatotes.

I'm feeling uncharacteristically entirely out of love with life, the Universe, and everything today, and would just adore having someone to pop out and grab a few healthy tasties to cheer me up. Or even to pop in, and cheer me up! (Snivels in disgusting self-pity, having eaten comfort rubbish and feeling all the worse for it.) But there you go - a nice little nest of mutual support up there in Bonnie Scotland, with Mrs Mo doing the looking good bit, and you helping her to stay that way!

Will, I think you may have brought them 25 years too early!! :)

Thanks for your comments though. My fella just just brought some over the internet - I will let you know how he gets on.
