I have - and there are at least two Irish bars. I was there for England's opening World Cup game against Paraguay last year and watched the match in one of them (with a commentary in Serbo-Croat).
It is a charming medieval little town, though much of it was rebuilt in the original style after the destruction caused by the great earthquake in 1667.
As it is not that big a place and depending how long you're going to be there I would recommend hiring a car and exploring some of the lovely small towns and villages further north up the Dalmatian coast.
