My dad Derek "Digger" Richardson was responsible for this horse trained by Staff Ingham in Langley Vale. Dad rode for staff and was head lad in the yard in 50's before moving on to work for PTS bookmakers.

If anyone has any memories of Chantry or staff ingham or anything connected I would love to hear from you. Chantry was the first post war favourite to win this race and was ridden by Ken Gethin on the day.

Post this on the Jumping For Fun forum and I reckon you'd get a reply, Mike. I know someone on there who now and then regales Staff Ingham stories.
