The greatest jockey celebrates his 4,000th win, taking a tender moment with his son Archie in the unsaddling enclosure at Towcester racecourse. It was a brilliant day that could not have been designed better; the way he got the winner, using all his strength to urge his horse Mountain Tunes to victory despite being 5 lengths down going into the final hurdle. He had lots of family members there to see it, and achieving the victory in the colours of his great friend, the owner JP McManus, meant so much to him
