Aran Concerto

from the RP, doesn't sound like there is a problem

A BID to get Aran Concerto back to winning ways came to northing at Cork on Sunday whenlast year's Powers Gold Cup winner unseated jockey Emmet Mullins midway through the Imperial Call Chase
Trainer Noel Meade took the Listed route for the John Corr-owned nine-year-old in preference to carrying top weight in the Powers Whisky Irish National at Fairyhouse on Monday.

But Aran Concerto, who has not won since his Grade 1 success last year, remained at the rear of his five rivals during the first circuit of the 3m contest and fell at the start of the second.

Mullins said: "He clouted it and did the splits after the fence. He was going well within himself at the time and he handled the ground well."
The race was won by 11-2 shotFlorida Express, trained by Philip Redmond. Tinakellylad came home in second spot.

There was a quick shot of him and Emmet Mullins starting the walk home, neither of them looked too battered.
