I also find Gareth’s decision to close the thread about Ardross that I started unacceptable. Isn’t this a bit self-important Gareth? Any moderator or editor should never suppress an opinion if it is believed to be genuinely held. A forum that displays this sort of attitude is unlikely to have a future.

I did not suppress your opinion. The thread is still readable to all. I closed it to further replies until the only person capable of answering your concerns had a chance to read it and reply to it - i.e. Col - and immediately made him aware of it.

A little bit of patience, please?

I find it totally acceptable, I suggest you read the rules that you agreed to by posting

I apologise to those in the forum who were unable to add anything to Steve's post for the 29 minutes it was closed whilst Col answered.

But 29mins is a lifetime

Reading these posts is like watching a couple have a row in slow motion :what:

Come on guys give the mods a chance!
