PERSONALLY THINK ARDROSS should resign as a MODERATOR he has lost the plot it seems, he has become POWER (this has been apparent for the last year now and more these last few months) mad, then harmony will prevail I am very certain of that the other mods don't do things like this? the guy!! is stifling FREE speech ...

Have one noticed that anything PDJ puts on here in support of this moderator it is ALWAYS backed up by the same people... :rolleyes:

Just a point of observation................

like that old adage a photo never lies its on here for all to see........



ONE CAN'T JUST DELETE SOMETHING IF ITS NOT PERSONAL EITHER, IT SEEMS BECAUSE HE!!! DON’T LIKE IT, HE!!! DELETES IT??? A VERY STRANGE BIT OF DIPLOMACY IN A COUNTRY OF FREE SPEECH INDEED ....

THIS IS AGAIN POSTED WITHIN THE BOARDS RULES TOO.............
 
Just what we need, another thread criticising the moderators. I can't be arsed, I have to go back to work tomorrow.

I have seen this before, how can you blame Ardross for this? He spends his time keeping the forum in order, along with Colin, he doesn't get paid for it, and I don't think I have seen anyone do a better job, he breaths this place, and you have him to thank for the success of this forum, as I can guarantee if Ardross wasn't here, it wouldn't be as active as it is now (12,000 posts)

I have seen this upon many occasions when Members try and override the Moderators and Admins, and It never works, that is of course if a Moderator feels they are right, if anything it makes them more determined to do there job.

Its people like you, and a few others which are bringing this forum down, and if anyone should clear off Merlin, it should be you. People like Ardross are trying to help this forum, and all you do is criticise(sp?) him and put him down, I can assure you he'll be pissed off when reading this, but he does a cracking job around the place, and if he we're to resign, this place would go down hill drastically, in my opinion of course.

Merlin, please...drop it. The moderators have a hard enough job to do without people causing more trouble for them. Please, don't let it get personal (insulting PDJ was unnecessary & uncalled for) & let Talking Horses return to normality.
 
We have a ready made MODERATOR in DIAMOND GEEZER if he will take it on board?? I know he has no axe to grind and will be fair to all!! note the ALL........ but I am sorry your position has now become untenable, you threaten me with possible banning because I object to you stifling free speech and taking sides!!!! really strange state of affairs indeed, if you cant take objection to yourself do everyone a very big favour on here and stand down... please...

Do you think when Ardross was appointed he had an axe to grind? I doubt that very much, its only because of people like you he has changed.(not that ive noticed the changed) as I said above, if anyone should clear off, it should be you, not Ardross, and I dont think DG would want to take on Moderating duties of the forum, in its current state, besides, its not for you who to decide takes the moderating job, Colin is the Admin, and he will choose.

So nip it in the bud.

S/L its not an insult (and was not meant to be) just an observation .....

Jamie I have been on here in access of 9 years now CH4 before this, along with ALL of these people but there has always been harmony? to a degree... I must point the finger of cause and its my decision ? no doubt backed by many others on here also that this guy is causing all the problems to this forum by being both JUDGE and JURY one can only speak as one finds.............

I feel with all this animosity the air will then be cleared if this guy resigns WE wont have problems like he is causing ................

FREE SPEECH FOR ALL(as long as its inside the boards rules) not controled by ONE person ?? not a lot to ask is it.........

THATS MY THEORY TO THIS FORUMS PROBLEMS....I am sorry if it upsets a few on here but its what I see happening makes me post thus.......

Jamie why act like a child?? grow up mate your talking to a mature MAN!! here thats not diplomatic... this forum as had problems for a while now 1yr app (stated previously) it cant be different people causing ALL these problems can it?

And I always post within the boards rules no swear words no personal abuse so then I see a post saying I am being warned because I speak the truth... very strange mate indeed .....thats far from being diplomatic as all boards should be...

I think that "a lot" roughly translates to "a handful" and a small one, at that. Funny how all the people who are starting these (frankly, abusive & offensive) threads are those who constantly stray outside the board's rules by posting offensive or abusive comments and getting them subsequently deleted. If you kept within the conditions of the board in the first place there wouldn't be a problem!

Terry no I dont think so mate being truthful and sincere as always ...........
speaking my mind as one would say....

I have made my observations and placed them within the boards rules again.....

I dont really have anything else to say on the matter I dont really want to get into a slanging match with anyone actually, so I have the courage of my convictions to put pen to paper on here and highlight who I think is causing the said problems cant be more truthful than that mate can you???

I have already clearly stated anyone starting threads/slagging off any of the mods will be suspended, and although this isn't exactly slagging Ardross off, it's about as close as it could possibly be without doing so.

I have asked in the past for anyone wanting to be a moderator to PM me and the offer still stands. Hey if anyone wants to run the board for a while and see if they can do better I'll give you admin rights and sit back for a month or so and let you get on with it (well if I trust you not to delete the lot :) ).
