Should have been out there this week but for a mess up with the flight bookings.

Plenty of British and Irish interest this weekend.

If you want to get the free online race programme for all the Arlington Park races go here http://www.brisnet.com/cgi-bin/bris_daily.cgi#PASTPERF register then login in and then click on Quick Play PPs (Full Size) Then click on the date on The Arlington Park tab and you will have the programme for that day.

My man at the track says the one to be on today is Race 1 - Dr Ballenger

That was tough 3L clear in the straight and done a hd in the last few yards - Ouch!!

Anyway tonights pick, first race again is No3 Mambo Galliano - they are a little worried as there has been a good word for No.5 China but that horse has been off for 10 months and never raced at this track, so they are expecting Mambo G. to win.

Treasure Beach is 15/2-at face value his last two runs give him no chance but the trainer has won the previously while TB won a Grade 1 on the card last year.Take it that last weeks run at Leopardstown was a gallop.I think the last bullet in my gun is being fired at this one.

Surely Betfair don't influence our TV channels? I have been to the USA many times and there are tracks listed on there that I've never even heard go, let alone have any interest in.
The Arlington card has three Grade 1 (Group 1) races tonight plus the inaugural running of the American St Leger, a race that pays £145,000 to the winner. There are quite a few European horses with chances all over the latter half of the card, and it looks as if the only way we can see them is to book a flight to Chicago!

You'd hope they'd (ATR) would be able to negotiate a seperate deal to show Arlington for this one night but it appears not.

Replays of Newbury/Newmarket/Perth etc on RUK no doubt.

You can use the free service on Twinspires but you'll only get 30 minutes - I usually log in just before the off watch a race and then pause at the finish until the start of the next race I want to see.

Actually pausing doesn't work just leave the webpage and go back when the next race is about to start - it will tell you on the screen how much time you have left for the day.

Could he not go the pace or did Jamie give him too much to do? He seemed to finish very well.
