Although the winners speak for themselves I have to mention this exceptional performance. She had been moved over to join the main group soon after the start and raced at the back. As the race moved into its final stages she had nothing but a wall of horses in front of her and eventually had to fall right back and go round them all to go ahead inside the last half furlong under hands and heels. She looks a special one.

She won the race on what proved to be the “wrong” side and would (may) have done better in the group that had the pace. Certainly did nothing wrong and I’ll keep her in my tracker.

Looks another good buy for the Wathnan newbies and would have won quite comfortably without the French winner. Hopefully he won’t be meeting that one very often !
