Assassination Of George W Bush

I am conflicted. I have been watching the series on the War trials and wanted to watch that too. I am not allowed use the DVD R because of what I did the last time and there is no one else at home.

ps..I wish they'd shoot those stags and Bill Oddie and get University Challenge back on again on mondays.

Really, the vulgarity on here these days! One is delighted with O'Gorman's services, in fact. It's a change to have a civilized man who comes at one's command...

Yeah, I also thought that was the worst part about tonight's offering - apart from God being invoked to justify the US Govt's actions at every opportunity - the notion of Cheney for Prez! The world would truly not be a safe place for anyone, probably firstly for Americans.

(Oooh, yes - the stags were marvellous fare! Poor old Percy getting shafted by that nasty Brutus! Really, a very interesting and lengthier view of what they really do in the rut. And Brutus's antler hole in that stag's skull was terrifying. Watch yer backs, folks!)
 
I thought that it was brilliantly done with the mixture of newsreel, drama and CGI. It made its points without labouring them. 7½ out of 10 - would have been 8 but to my mind it wasn't quite as good after the assassination itself, which came fairly early in the programme.
 
It certainly displayed a view that America are more interested in telling the "truth" rather than the truth.

I agree that the telling of the story and the effects and editing were excellent.
