Griffin, you can get gluten-free cereals, bread, and cake mixes from most health shops.  Worth a try, as that's an intolerance thousands of people have without realizing it.  Like many allergens, people actually crave it (I'm forgotten all the techie stuff why, but it's often true), and can't go long without.  Worth a go - I have to say I always feel better without it, too, and a couple of days without it certainly helps to flatten the tummy.

Kathy - so far, I am the soul of piety.  A puffed rice cereal yesterday, followed by a tiny avocado and salad for lunch, and one small croissant as a treat, with a small amount of Port Salut cheese (which I've realized I don't actually like that much!) for supper.  Orange juice, lots of water, 2-3 cuppas.

Today, Alpen for brekkie, and more lovely fresh salad with self-made cider vinegar/olive oil/mustard dressing for lunch.  Lots of water, 2-3 cuppas.  Probably a health shop slice (not a whole one!) of their own veggie pizza for din-dins, with perhaps a tomato.  Treat for tonight:  ONE champagne truffle - probably the most spectacular ones I've ever had, and one really is enough.  (I'm kidding myself - six is even better, but they really are so rich, even I feel icky!)   :D

Got a bit of a pressure headache today:  possibly the weather, or the lack of three tons of sugar per day?  Feeling very positive, though.   ;)
