I've just had a quick look at the card. It's a cracker, almost on a par with a big day at Cheltenham or Aintree.

Hopefully they get the good-sized fields they deserve and a decent bit of weather but we've had tons of rain lately and the prospect of heavy ground would spoil it for me.

Im going on the Sat and can't wait. No rain forecast at the moment (good for me if a bit late for the ground).

The going stick readings are confusing me. They are more akin to what you'd expect of good ground rather than heavy. The rain stopped here (about 30 miles away) this morning and it's been breezy since. With the verti-draining and the wind, it might not be as soft as they're saying.
