Been a tad under the weather, so haven’t been doing anything lately. Cheltenham is looming up, of course, so I’d better start paying attention. Can’t do Cheltenham without a prep run!!
Interesting runner at Ayr tomorrow in the opening maiden hurdle. Blue Hop won his debut bumper very convincingly and was promptly tried in a Listed one where he was found out a bit, but not disgraced finishing 5th from 10. That was it and he has not been seen again for over a year, so must have had issues as well as moving stables. Would be a cut above this opposition if he has retained his early promise and as the opening 6/1 didn’t last long (4/1 atm) maybe someone thinks he has. Mainly interested to see how he runs.
