Like the title says I want your best bet at Xmas, your best lay and the most solid each way.

Mine:

BET - Demachine - Kempton on Monday (watch Kerry not declare now) - NB Flooring Porter Xmas Hurdle Leop (11/4 in a place should be 11/8)

LAY - Cloudy Glen - Rowland Meyrick. Has zero chance of being competitive off 150. Place lay.

EW - Earlofthecotswolds Kempton Sun. Solid horse up against a Jonjo fav who won lto at Taunton and a Harry Fry horse as 2nd choice in the market

Back: Farouk D’Alene (9/4) Elliot’s bullishness this morning only makes me more confident.

Lay: Sir Gerhard (4/9) Is up against a couple of smart-looking prospects and Willie’s have largely been needing the run.

Each-Way: Saint Calvados (25/1) Still believe there’s a big race in this horse, and pretty sure Nicholls is capable of extracting improvement out of anything Harry Whittington trained. Ran well for a long way last year when Whittington’s were desperately out-of-form, and I’m expecting a big run.

Back Bothwell Bridge 3/1 Henderson's 2nd leg of a likely double

2 Places lay CDO 5/4 he's about as reliable as a 2 pound note

Asterion Forlonge 7/1 EW

This is the Clan that has only finished out of the places twice, in the Gold Cup, in the last three years? I wouldn't mind one as reliable as that.

Back: Minella Indo 3/1

Lay: Ahoy Senor

Each-Way: Elegant Escape 20/1 Welsh Nat

Back: Ejtilaab 3.00W ignore Steward's Cup run, rider eased him after 2f.
Lay: Ahoy Senor 1.55K will get outjumped, this track & ground.
EW: Empire Steel 2.05W ground will suit better than Haydock.

Back: Secret Reprieve, Welsh National.

Lay : Frodon, surely the Jockeys can actually use their brain this year and stop giving Bryony a soft lead.

BACK ...Lincolnshire National boxing day at Market Rasen - Eclair Mag I have as part of a win patent its gone from rank outsider of 25s on the early show to about 8/1 last time looked.

Given he needs forgiving for a couple of poor efforts the last twice the market move gives me a fair bit of confidence he could bounce back to form.

LAY.. Laying is not my strongest forte but I couldn't be backing Envoi Allen at 9/1 let alone 9/4. I think Chacun is highly likely to bounce back to justify favouratism although at odds on its obviously a no bet race for me.

Each Way. Christmas Hurdle. Sam Profile (if declared). I am not sure about who will be lining up but Sams Profile is obviously a lightly raced hurdler and probably has had one or two issues like why he missed the cheltenham festival last season.

I reckon he could put in a lifetime best this season so may be able to out run the odds to get placed.

The decs for the christmas hurdle should be in tomorrow I think?

Take a closer look........11 times he's strted favourite and lost 7 times. Of course he's made money for his owners but we are punters and he's cost punters fortunes
