Is all well in Ballydoyle. We are getting used to the slow start but the horses that have run twice are not showing the usual progression, in fact they seem to be regressing, i.e Ruby Tuesday, Adjusted, The Islander, Meandering have not come on for their initial runs at all

Maybe, or maybe those are no good. Two nice winners for the stable at Navan on Saturday.

The week before Guineas week is when they start finding their form. If we have a relatively dry summer they will make hay!

Maybe they are no goodbut the Ballydoyle modus operandi was always that the horses improve dramatically from each run. Adjusted finished behind Marakoush at the curragh, a horse that he had beaten easily first time. Ruby Tuesday was very eyecatching at Leop and dropped out like she had been shot last night again finished behind a horse that she beat first time. No horse that has run twice has improved yet. it will be interesting to see how Johan Strauss gets on today

Palace improved, but yes a fair point about the others.

I was speaking to someone the other day who told me they'd backed Bracelet ante-post because it won so easily when the rest of the stable were running like drains.
