Good afternoon;

All this talk of Cape Amber, Moonstone and Dar Re Mi has given us an excellent 9/1 opportunity today. Sir Michael Stoute's horses are in flying form at home and SOVEREIGNS HONOUR (2.40) is the one filly in the yard who looks outstanding at home. The twiced race filly was very backward last season and wasnt in her coat when debuting at Sandown last month. She was also a good few gallops short. However today the filly is looking in tip top form and her work with some classy fillies lately on the Al Bahathri gives the impression she will turn that form upside down this afternoon. She is 9/1 now having been 12s early but she is flying at home and can cause a shock.

Our 2nd bet today comes way down at Exeter where the David Pipe yard run the interesting debutant Lancer Scott (5.05 Ex). He has been showing plenty of promise on the gallops of late and his work companion overcame greenness to score at Towcester the other evening. Lancer Scott knows it's job this afternoon and can follow in his footsteps.

Back to York today and we can bank ourselves a treble with COLLECTION. Willie Haggas' runner in the 4.55 was not ready at Doncaster last time and this step up in trip is what he has been crying out for. Rattling fast ground will bring out the best in time and he has been pleasing up Warren Hill for the pass 2 weeks. He is a 4/1 shot and value each way to upset the short priced fav.

2pts Win 4pts Place Sovereigns Honour (10.5 & 2.72)
2pts Win Lancer Scott SP
2pts Ew Place Collection SP

Good Luck

Chris

Surprised that PVH has put up Spencer on this one rather than Dettori who's available - any thoughts on that Chris?
I'm still convinced that ground will be crucial here, but not convinced that today's the day for Cape Amber... tho I feel she is the only one sure to handle the going
