Trip out to Haydock, always enjoy this day. Be careful though folks if you'er backing there, the weather tonight has been atrocious, It will truly be a real heavy slog there tomorrow so ratings may well be going out of the window. Would love to back Coneygree but just can't in a mammoth task off a long break in the expected going, Seeyouatmidnight coming into the equation for me. That mudlark Chase the Spud in the 1.15 is about the only other horse I'll be semi confident on.

i don't much mind what win the Betfair Chase as I am a huge fan of both Seeyouatmidnight and Cue Card and you have to respect the unbeaten chaser and Gold Cup winner Coneygree.

I have no idea how fit Coneygree is and therefor couldn't back him on a wing and a prayer. Seeyouatmidnight was my Hennessy fancy but taking on these at levels looks a big ask.

Some might want to right Cue Card off after 2 defeats but I'm not ready yo do that yet. Doesn't take a genius to work out that Tizzard is eyeing up that million pounds and that the Charlie Hall would be no more than a win if you can prep race. This is the big one for Cue Card so I am going for him.

I have my doubts about MTOY making it to the Champion Hurdle but he should take the Rush hurdle with ease.

As for the Fixed Brush Hurdle Theo's Charm is expected to run a big race at a big price a wee birdy tells me......tweet tweet!!
