Betfair Multiples query

I am having problems with Multiples on Betfair. Every time I try to place any - even a piddly little £1 e/w on something the same message comes up:

"Market not available in this region" (yes I am in the UK and I am placing bets on UK racing)

I have contacted their live chat help, I have rung them. Nothing has come to light. I have deleted cache & cookies from computer/tablet as suggested. Nothing. This has only happened over the last couple of months but is somewhat irritating especially as I would quite like to do the odd accumulator.

Any suggestions?
 
I'm not the best at things like this myself Jinny. When you're saying Betfair Multiples is that on Sportsbook I take it, not the exchange ? Can you place single bets without any issue ? I'm not sure I could help either way but it might help somebody else to help you if they have a bit more detail.
 
Are you betting on the exchange or at the bookie version?

Have you successfully placed such a bet at the site before?
 
I go into the Exchange then on the left hand side, if you scroll down it says Multiples. They are settled at starting price.

Yes I have done it before and it used to be fine. Really annoying as sometimes I only want to put on a small bet (especially for something like Aintree) or a small multiples and its not letting me. It cost me a 5 timer at Ludlow recently!
 
Don't go exchange Jinny
Go to sportsbook and to the race of your first selection and click...that puts it up in a box on the right

Then go to your 2nd selection and that will be added like so: Jin.jpg

Then place your bet
 
I thank you! I have managed a trial e/w bet. Unfortunately I didn't work it out in time for Lalor which I had been trying to do. Still it's progress. Now need look at how to do accumulators!
 
Just keep adding selections....sometimes you have to scroll down or delete any silly messages that hide the staking part at the bottom of the bets

Jinny I tend to find Bet365 more user friendly. If your sticking to the main action and the big days then when they do there price guarantees on the TV racing then its giving you pretty much best price on every selection. It can make a huge difference to accumulator returns.
