Realising it's an inappropriate time with all our focus on Chelt, but I'm forced to ask for some or any advice.

Could anybody advise an avenue for withdrawing my funds from a particular bookmaker?
The account is with Bet365. It is my account, is a completely unlimited/unrestricted account with full entitlement to all offers and bonus's. It has an account balance of four figures, euro.

I cannot withdraw through the normal channels. I cannot arrange a poker-dump to extract the funds as Bet365 does not have 2-player tables (minimum 6). I cannot bet my way out of it on horses -- the bets keep winning and is part of the reason why the bank has grown. I want to withdraw rather than the alternative of just leaving the account stay dormant.

This s a genuine cry from the heart. This situation is ongoing for about three years now, and I need to resolve it. I am very happy to reward a 10% commission of the funds involved to anyone who can suggest a solution leading to a successful conclusion.

Can you help or advise?

Can you explain why you can't extricate the funds, Ice?

Is it possibly a technical issue (e.g. you are trying to withdraw to an old, invalid, card and the transaction is therefore rejected at source) or something more sinister (looks like B365 have blocked withdrawals)?

Grasshopper, thank you kindly for reply.

At the time of signing up (maybe ten years ago), I erroneously entered my incorrect date-of-birth. The d.o.b. on my Bet365 account does not tally with my d.o.b on my passport or driving licence.
Everything else is in order; home address, debit card, photograph, etc etc.

Bet365 allows continuous betting without verification of personal details, but withdrawals must first submit to such verification before approval of withdrawal.
The mistaken d.o.b. will possibly scupper that.

Have you been in touch with B365 about this? It doesn't seem an insurmountable challenge, given you will very readily be able to verify your ID.

Get on to customer service on the blower with your passport in hand. This isn't a problem. Explain the DOB was an error.

No, I haven't, and am loath to do so as I know what the conclusion will be -- redaction of all my winnings outside the initial deposit. All they need is the excuse, and this provides them with one.
In a KYC (Know-Your-Customer) verification process, all personal details must tally with the documentation submitted by the client.
If I enter into this procedure with Bet365, the incorrect d.o.b. will red-flag up, and my account funds will be sequestered.

What about the phone app?

Can you potentially withdraw to the card via that? It's possibly not wholly tethered to the Online payment rules?

You suffer with serious paranoia. They are Bet365 not the Nazi party.

Grass, whatever platform -- app or Online -- withdrawals must be preceeded by submission of documentation and approval of same.

Are you absolutely sure, Ice? I have recently (within last 7 days) withdraw a four-figure sum via the app, without the slightest hint of aggravation.

Also, tend to agree with Slim. It's either take a punt, to leave the dough with B365, isn't it?

Edit: Appreciate that might sound slightly patronising, but I've never - at any stage - had to produce any KYC to retrieve funds form B365 or any other account, hence my puzzlement.

Okay, Slim, can I tell something else which I may have ....... erm, .............. overlooked to mention?
Can I tell it on condition that I won't be subjected to a lecture as to what a bold, bold boy I was, and how I deserve all that's coming to me?
Yeah? Promise?

But you had previously -- at an earlier time -- submitted your documentation and it had been approved, no ?

Well clearly you're not being straight with us because an incorrect DOB is nothing.

You can't get better until you admit you have a problem. Come on, spill.

Fine then, I'll out with it. (This is something like the Confessional Box -- something that orange bastids would know nothing about!).

I think -- and it is only a "think", a suspicion -- that many many years ago I might have had another Bet365 account with my name but with the correct date-of-birth attached.
This current one has an incorrect d.o.b for certain but also with my correct name ............... if the two are associated by a shrewd verification screener then I will be guilty of "gnoming" and will lose the four-figure current account.

There, I've said it.
No whipping post or public execution, please, okay? :)
