Betting Query?

Last week I clicked 'bet boost' on a 9/4 shot with bf sportsbook, only to be offered a risible amount @5/2. I quickly clicked off again and placed the original bet @ 9/4.
48 hrs later, it hadn't been settled, but the stake had been deducted from my account.
I raised this wth Betfair who simply shipped the query some org named "Betting Expert". However, 48 hours later, I've still not received payment, or further acknowledgement from the said org.
What do I do?

Is the bet showing in your open bets?

It's rare that any bookies make mistakes with settlements, there's normally a good/valid reason even when everything is screaming that something's gone wrong in their favour rather than yours.

So, I'd check open bets. If it's there, then clearly something is wrong. Only option is to contact support and quote the bet id. It's unlikely but possible it got its pants in a twist with what you did.

If it's not, I'd be looking back through bet history. Is it there? Was it settled? What does it show? (if it shows as a win, you should see the appropriate balance increase next to it).

Thanks Chaumi. It shows as settled - exactly as I've reported it? Nothing returned to my bank though.
What's ' betting expert' though, does anyone know?
 
Did you actually speak to a real person? Or just go through the automated chatbot. I wouldn't have thought a real support rep would have fobbed you off like that.

PS I've never heard the term 'betting expert' in any dealings with Betfair, and we're talking a lot of years. Not to say it doesn't exist, maybe I've just been 'lucky'. So, if anyone at BF said to me 'go and check it at Betting Expert', my first q would be wtf is that
