Bluetooth and laptops

As there are so many knowledgable people on here I'm hoping one of you can help me.

I'm wanting to get one of these:

However my laptop doesn't have bluetooth. Would getting one of these mean I could use it?:

What operating system is on your laptop? In theory that dongle should give your laptop bluetooth

Windows 7. It's a Samsung if that helps too.

That doggle only works with Vista and XP i'm afraid

If i were you, i'd bring laptop and all to your local Maplins and see what they have in stock, then go find it cheaper online

Sorry, but I'm back again with more queries about this. I've now got the Creative speaker and the appropriate adaptor. It works fine with any music from my hard drive and with music from You Tube and last fm. However when playing from Spotify which I use quite a lot the music is slightly on the slow side and there is some interference. Spotify though works fine when just played through the laptop's speaker. I've posted the same question on the Spotify help forum but had no reply. Anyone got any ideas?
