Every month I receive the local village news which is usually full of the planning apps., hatches, matches & dispatches, church news etc. In this months issue there is a letter from a lad who used to live in the village who now teaches in Bogata, Colombia. He desperately wants to improve the quality of life over there (the school has approx. 1300 pupils). He asks if anyone is able to send any unwanted books especially childrens out there. If anybody does feel especially charitable over christmas (or like myself has hundreds of books littering the house & can spare a few), if they PM me I can pass on his details on how to send them.
