Roll up, put your strongest fancies on here, at the prices, or whatever else. I don't know about you guys but I need a thread to clear my thoughts. Hopefully this thread doesn't descend into just a Connie or Lossie thread. There's lots of other races to look at.

I think Passing Well holds strong claims in the 2.03 at Wincanton. He's another one who we haven't seen the best of yet, his jumping needs to improve but the cheekpieces should sharpen him up. There's several others with chances in what is a competitive small field affair. Passing Well can prevail though.

My other one at the prices is White Rhino in the Kauto Star Novices Chase. Many good judges were impressed by the fav last time, I'm not sure how strong the form is though. The third home Johnnywho was beaten out of sight the other day in a novice chase. I know the likelihood is Jukebox is a really good horse, but I just think White Rhino is a bit of value at the prices. He's kept improving, is loving the game, if he handles Kempton, he's got a live chance.

Kempton

12:45 - Paul Nicholls was to launch In The Waterside over fences, but he’s been taken out. I’ll rely on his other one - Fire Flyer

1:20 - I thought The Jukebox Man looked a very good prospect over fences last time at Newbury and it’s no surprise he’s a short priced favourite.

1:55 - What can you say, unless Lossiemouth is an absolute superstar she hasn’t a prayer against Constitution Hill even if he’s not quite at his pomp.

2:30 Whilst it would be no surprise to see Il Est Francais or Spillanes Tower at the head of things I was impressed with Banbridge last time where he would have given Energemene much to think about if that one hadn’t sideswiped him when he unseated at the last. The ground will be spot on for him, but the distance is a concern.

3:05 - Haven’t the faintest idea, but it’d be good to see Henrietta Knight on the scoreboard with Moonshine Man.

3:40 - Nicky Henderson had eight decent horse entered for this and there’s three left. I won a bit on East India Express last Friday and I think he’s pretty good. He didn’t have the easiest race in the world and he’s out very quickly, but might be worth it before the handicapper gets busy.

I have a roll up going onto Asta la Pasta in the opener at Kempton also took 9/2 when prices came out. Fire Flyer in the same race I have in an each way double with Iron Bridge in the Welsh Nash.

Banbridge in the KG

I’m also on Fire Flyer in the 12.45 Kempton

I’d expected Potters Charm would be shorter than 2/1 in the 1.05 Aintree and will back him at that price

Took some 6/1 Il Est Francais in the King George and happy enough with that but also had a speculative wax way on his stablemate at 100/1

Myerestown 2.10Weth (courtey of David Johnson)
Jumped like a buck in his Newbury prep, and looks rock solid at the current 6/4.

On the basis that I don't believe either will be but the overuse of the phrase has worn me down, I'm inclined to do an "if they're back to their best" double on Constitution Hill and Il Est Francais which pays around 12/1. Chuck in "will win if he's as good as they say" Kopek Des Bordes in the first at Leopardstown and you've a decent trixie.

The Rowland Meyrick is of particular interest to me this year as it features top Hunters' Chaser Sine Nomine and a particularly-talented ex-Point claimer in Callum Pritchard who, if he can do 9st9lb, takes 7lb off Some Scope, who is already well treated on Cheltenham spring form.

Sine Nomine runs off 133, which tbh is probably as good as she is on peak career form so far, but she's a progressive sort and, though she'd like it Softer, she should go well.
