When Michael Buckley owner of Brain Power was interviewed by Matt Chapman on On The Line last night he said "I actually called him Brain Power because of his mare Blonde Ambition, so sorry to the blondes but it seemed obvious to call him Brain Power".
He also stated he purchased the horse after he had won his first bumper at Newcastle when he was owned and trained by James Albert Jenkins. So how did he manage to name the horse if he didn't own him till after he had won his first race? Sounds a bit fishy to me or is there a logical explanation?
