Not long back from Ascot, Col, and I had it in mind to seek out that site, so thanks. I'll have a look some time over the weekend and I'll let you know the result.

£190 saving with Equigas and Equipower, although they only have a 2 star rating, compared to 5 with my current supplier (what ever that equates to?) Surely gas is gas? Alright they probably don't answer the phone, but then bookies, and insurance companies when requiring a quote apart , how many companies do?

Amazingly British Gas have a full page advert in the paper today goes along the lines of other companies having put up prices twice this year. :D

Well yes . My savings with Scottish Power looked very impressive when I switched and although it is still guaranteed to be lower than B Gas , Sp have imposed swingeing increases themselves this month.

How about nationalising the gas supply industry so they can't make massive profits at our expense and then blame the cost of the raw material.

In six weeks time, I am having a woodburner installed in the new extension, as I have a huge supply of logs all ready to burn from an oak tree which came down last year. I have worked out that, in spite of spending lot more on the particular version of very modern w/b that of course I decided would look just right in the sitting room, if I manage to reduce the black gold consumption by half, it will have paid for itself in about three years. There are several more trees which need felling, so it seemed the logical path to follow.

And filling up wheelbarrows with ogs and then load inthe wood basket will also be good for me! B)
